Is Denzel injured as well? We may not see him tonight which puts alot more pressure on Chandler to run the point.
I think we see the small starting lineup sans Denzel if he is injured.

I don’t know anything about Georgetown, but personally I will be interested to see if we can continue to rebound at the level we did against Purdue. If we rebound like that all season, we’re going to be extremely hard to beat. Mo D needs to stay out of foul trouble. I’m also looking for more from Kam. He did drop a nice dime to Moreno on the break last game. He’s gonna need to hit the glass too if he wants to earn more time.

I didn't hear about Denzel being injured. Hope it's not a serious matter.

I think tonight will be a better (more competitive ) game than Purdue.
Georgetown will be quicker and shoot better than Purdue. I'm looking forward to see how we manage the roster and play a smaller quicker team. They do have a couple 7' guys but IMO they will be forced to play small ball against us either because of foul trouble or not being able to handle us inside. I look for GT to shoot lots of threes.
Our defense should control this game and it should be fun to watch.

Go Cats.

Don’t think Mo will have trouble staying out of foul trouble. Had to deal with one of the best bigs in the country. Went back and watched the 3 fouls in the 1st half because I was curious about it as well. One was legit, just trying to body TKR and keep his big behind out of the paint. 2nd was a fluky one 90’ from the basket via a heady guard. 3rd one was silly from Mo D. Had TKR trapped in a double with shot clock winding down and reached in.

That being said, he does play physical. So may be a theme. TBD

He has battled foul trouble his whole career. Last year he averaged over 5 fouls per 40 minutes.

Lowe wont play and Johnson might just start if Aberdeen is out.

I'll admit something funny, I saw the exb games months ago and saw Purdue and Georgetown and I assumed it was Georgetown Ky to where I never paid attention to the exb games again so today I saw we were playing the Hoyas and I spit out my coffee lol. I hope with the possible 4 exb games next year we will bring back a game or 2 against cup cakes so we can have fun destroying a team by 40 again.

To be fair, I don’t think fouls are the best per 40 stat. Colin Chandler averaged over 5 per 40 last year as well.

But agreed, your point remains. He’s a physical player. Hopefully stays away from the silly ones at this point in his career.

Agreed. Only reason I know that is from reading a scouting report on him when he committed to us , lol.

I’m looking forward to seeing if this team has the killer instinct to destroy teams. I feel like they could have really opened the lead against Purdue if they had wanted to. I realize it is an exhibition game but I wanna see them take pride in pulling away and running the score up. That used to drive me nuts about Cal. He would have a lead and instead of pulling away to break their will he would go to stall ball.
