I'm interested in what you all think about the last decade of games? Now we had several standouts from the early days, but what do you guys think? I think the responses will vary/

I think the easiest are the top 2 games. But after that I'm not sure. What's lacking are the big time home wins, I wish that FSU game had been a night game in 2016. Big wins are fun anywhere, but even more fun at home.

1. The 2013 Sugar Bowl Win over Florida.
2. The BLOWOUT of Florida State in 2016 where Lamar made his stand.
3. AT Notre Dame in 2014. I mean wow what awesomeness.
4. 2013 win at Cincy in OT. They had all the momentum & we left the AAC in style.
5. 2014 beating Miami at home to kick-off the ACC TAKEOVER.

Other fun games?
-2011 at Kentucky to snap the 4 game losing streak
-2011 West Virginia, they ended up being a great team and we sent them to the Big 12 in style
-2012 Rutgers win to get the BCS Bowl game and avenge the 2006 loss
-2014 & 2015 Continuing the sUcKs streaks in fun comeback fashion
-2015 Music City Bowl win over Texas A&M where Lamar made his statement.
-2016 Virginia where we avoided the upset and kept the dream alive
-2019 WILD ride at Wake Forrest to give Scott his first big win over a ranked team
-2019 Music City Bowl win over Miss State and complete the turnaround from 2-10

IDK how long the 2021 UCF game will hold up depending on how they finish and where we finish. I think it stands out because we haven't had many fun primetime games like that over time. The ACC has a lot of afternoon games and puts the trash games late at night.

The close upsets or games that never were?
1a. Florida State in 2014 when Jameis led the comeback. Would've been a special night at home
1b. AT Clemson in 2016 when Quick lost track of the chain crew and time.
3. Notre Dame in 2020 when we were pretty bad and they ended in the playoff. Almost had the onside kick.
4. UCF in 2013 was them upsetting us, but man we would've been undefeated with them on our resume, fun Friday
5. The Auburn game in 2015 where we came so close to coming back. A sign of things to come for Lamar.

I'd add the 2010 Beef O'Brady's Bowl in Tampa. That was a nice bowl win after being "bowl-less" the previous three seasons. It was a much needed shot in the arm., though it didn't necessarily translate to a lot of success the following year. Without question, the 2013 Sugar Bowl has been the biggest win since 2010.

Fun list, I agree with all of it. The Sugar Bowl f'n ruled. Our defense was suffocating in that one. I was at the 2011 win over WVU, it was here in Morgantown, Teddy's freshman year. Fun time to be a fan, you could tell Charlie was building a program.

Guess he did, but why make a list of all time games and not include 1991.. 🙃
It's a day I'll always remember, even though some minutes, and perhaps hours, of it are a blur. o_O

We were on one of the Same-day flights out and back after a New Years Eve night. We were on the DC-10, not the 747.

It seems like just the other day.....

I can see myself on the CARDS plane, I can see myself sitting in the stands cheering, I can feel the long ride home after that long day, I can see the mountains and I remember how much I loved The Pipe Man that day & forever.

Don’t forget the James Quick not being quick in 2014. We should have beat Clemson @ Clemson that year.
