Day does the least with the most talent in the conference. Not saying Schiano would do better but Day is not a championship caliber coach. Certainly not to the expectations of a team like OSU. They would have been better finding a way to keep Fickell.

Dumb kickoff. Squib it straight ahead weakly. Even if it doesn't go 10 yards just stand there and wait for them to pick it up and immediately tackle.
They found an extra second to let OSU kick the point after they showed no interest in doing so.

You only get two points for that, BUT, that would be all they needed to tie the game. Good observation!

I said both these things … OSU almost didnt deserve to win with some of the dumbest coaching I’ve ever seen .. the end around, then the PAT that a block return was the most likely ND chance you’re giving them, then the hard swuibb kick that even if it doesnt go out, ND has a chance to return now with all their blockers set up .. absolute stupidity coaching
I know it’s out there, but we HAVE to beat this Indiana team, Michigan State is still reeling and Iowa is still offensively challenged. We have to find a way to take at least 2 of those games.
Why would Day care what Holtz predicted? Thought it was worse than that.
