Some interesting memorabilia in here. Even his championship rings.
FIFYI want one of his bongs
Naw, I want one of his bowls, more portable and I honestly hate bongs but I wouldn't turn it downFIFY
I don't know, I haven't checked. If so, it's not available in every stateDo they have one on there?
When I smoked a lot I loved bongs. Especially ones with ice in the bottom. So nice.Naw, I want one of his bowls, more portable and I honestly hate bongs but I wouldn't turn it down
Never heard of that. Interesting. When I smoked a lot I loved bongs. Especially ones with ice in the bottom. So nice.
Oh yeah throw some ice in the bottom of the bong with the water. Makes for a smooth experience.Never heard of that. Interesting.
Oh no doubt. There are some really nice rigs, too. I just roll joints these days. When I smoked a lot I loved bongs. Especially ones with ice in the bottom. So nice.
I like edibles now. Since I have no tolerance and quit for years smoking makes me paranoid anymore.Oh no doubt. There are some really nice rigs, too. I just roll joints these days.
I used to do that but it ends up just wasting it when you roach it, in my opinion. Bowls leave no waste. I couldn’t burn through a whole joint anyway. lol Just too much unless there are several peopleOh no doubt. There are some really nice rigs, too. I just roll joints these days.
Never tried those. Wouldn’t know where to get them, but it sounds interestingI like edibles now. Since I have no tolerance and quit for years smoking makes me paranoid anymore.
Lol someone who isn't me prefers measured reliable predictable doses. He also went to Oakland one time and got a disposable vape and used it in the hotel room at like 11 PM and stayed up til like 2:30 AM worried the smoke alarm was going to go off.I like edibles now. Since I have no tolerance and quit for years smoking makes me paranoid anymore.
If you're in western ky you can drive across the state line to Illinois and grab a few edibles. They've never done anything for me (Cali, Vegas, Michigan, all did nothing) but a friend gifted me some from a visit to Michigan(they are legal here in Illinois but it's much cheaper in Michigan) that were ranked the best edibles in Michigan 2 years running so maybe these will do the trick!Never tried those. Wouldn’t know where to get them, but it sounds interesting

In one of his books Bill Walton referenced his occasional financial challenges. He passed away last May, and who knows what resources were left behind for his wife. Whether rich, poor or in between, liquidating an estate is commonplace. No doubt, Bill Walton had accumulated memorable stuff throughout the years. But since you can’t take it with you, if you haven’t liquidated or made arrangements to dispose of your stuff before passing, that burden then falls to your estate and heirs to do it. And there’s never a ‘right way’ that everyone will agree with.It is SAD to see his possessions sold off to the highest bidders. It just goes to show that when you play/win, you can acquire accolades, trophies, and trinkets. When you pass, most of those are now seen are $$$. The thought of that just hit me differently today.
I noted that the very first Adolph Rupp trophy ever, which he won, is being auctioned off. But he went on to win two more. Not sure what has become of those, but didn’t see them as part of the auction.Everything he ever won, auctioned off to strangers.
Expert move there. When I smoked a lot I loved bongs. Especially ones with ice in the bottom. So nice.
We’ve basically moved on to edibles as well! Still smoke, but much less.I like edibles now. Since I have no tolerance and quit for years smoking makes me paranoid anymore.
instead of water try wineOh yeah throw some ice in the bottom of the bong with the water. Makes for a smooth experience.
Dunno where you live but delta 8 and 9 are legal in Indiana and maybe Kentucky not sure with medical now but you can get them at any smoke shop or order online. Not as good as the real deal IMO but still good. Eat a gummy and your set. Maybe 2 if you have a tolerance. You can always make your own butter at home with the real deal.Never tried those. Wouldn’t know where to get them, but it sounds interesting
Anybody know what happened to the "Adolph Rupp Trophy"? It was awarded annually from 1972 - 2015 then just disappeared. I've searched Google but can't find anything about why it was discontinued. The Wooden Award started later in 1977.I noted that the very first Adolph Rupp trophy ever, which he won, is being auctioned off. But he went on to win two more. Not sure what has become of those, but didn’t see them as part of the auction.
There's a John Calipari joke somewhere with that sentence. This screams “money issues” which breaks my heart. Wish the Waltons the best!
I disagree. His estimated net worth at time of death was $20 million. All of his children appear to have successful careers, and he had a successful broadcasting career for many years. This screams “money issues” which breaks my heart. Wish the Waltons the best!
His children are independently wealthy and can buy it back if they want it.Everything he ever won, auctioned off to strangers.
Not everybody wants to hoard every single relic of the deceased.Really surprised at some of the stuff the family is selling . You would think they would want to hold onto some of the more cherished stuff.

I didn't imply that they should keep it all genius. Guess you weren't close with your father or you would understand keeping a few special items. Not everybody wants to hoard every single relic of the deceased.
Unless they want all these things prominently displayed throughout their homes, then it would be disrespectful to keep it boxed up in storage. Their father was famous, and maybe they see it as sharing their dad's legacy with people who idolized him? The money raised could be for a good cause. We don't know the details, but I don't think Bill expected all of his belongings to be passed down within the family for centuries to come.
Me too! I was a heavy smoker till I was about 29. I felt the same way. Losing that tolerance made me super noid and I was never like that before, I do not know why that is but I know a lot of people say the same thing. Maybe if I started smoking daily again that would go away but I hate the way I feel when it happens. Edibles give me a body buzz and that’s what I’m looking for.I quit for a while but was a chronic smoker until 29. Im 38 now. I was able to finally kick the habit. Went back, smoked some, and had no enjoyment in it anymore. Never thought that would happen. I think I just outgrew it.
And the paranoia it gives me now is just over the top insane. I think I had less concerns when I was younger but now with life and kids it gives me extreme paranoia and I don’t even want it.
Had you told me at 20 that there would be a day I don’t even want to smoke at all, I’d have thought you were nuts. And what sucks is dispensaries began to open right near my house. Something I’ve wanted for an eternity and now I quit so long I don’t even care. We used to dream about that sht growing up while throwing 5 bucks together 4 ways to get a 20 of Bab.
