Very disappointing performance by Buffalo. From the beginning, it looked to me like they didn't want to be there. Odd.

It may sound cold, but I wonder if the Hamlin situation became a distraction and whether the team lost their edge as a result.

Final: 27-10, Bengals win in Buffalo.

They'll face the K.C. Chiefs in the AFC Championship game next Sunday

Bills defense was without Micah Hyde, Von Miller, Daquan Jones, and AJ Epenesa.

Hamlin wasn't great but he was the best they had after losing Hyde. Losing him was big.

4 starters + a key backup on one side of the ball. That's a lot to overcome.

Yeah and Cinct dominated the line of scrimmage with 3 back up offensive linemen. Go figure.

Credit to the Bengals backup OL.

But if you don't think losing so many key starters makes a difference just look what happened to 5-0 PSU at Iowa after losing Clifford and Mustipher.

Ed Oliver didn’t start the game and he was supposed to be “healthy”. Jordan Phillips played with a bad shoulder. Poyer played all season with a torn meniscus. The defensive scheme is dated and not really effective anymore. Offensive line is a sieve. Saffold blows at guard and Spencer Brown is awful too. Bills May also be looking for a new DC & OC after this game. I say bring in a Frank Reich, old Bill, and local NEPA guy Vic Fangio.

I would also not be surprised if Josh Allen gets off-season UCL surgery. I wonder if his injury was worse than what is know

I think this team is mentally fried after this year. The crazy weather, 3 games in 12 days, a guy almost dying on the field. They just look shot plus Cincinnati has a helluva team.

You're probably right on all counts. I was surprised though that the Bills appeared to come out so flat and stayed that way. The Bengals did not lack for emotion and tough play...and had a good game plan that they executed quite well. Tough to gauge how good the Bengals are...or the Chiefs for that matter.

Well Burrow is an assassin and I wonder how a one legged Mahomes holds up.
