has been hired as the Chicago Bulls head coach. I know some people speculated whether he would return to college basketball but it appears he'll stay in the NBA for now.

Their was no way he wa going back to college he was on record stating how the college game was just not worth it anymore.
He's a Brad Stevens type that can strategize at any level, but has the personality to vibe with his players.
It's why Rick didn't do well his 2nd run in New York. The old NBA the coaches had a bit more control, but in the new player power era, some college coaches just cannot let go of control. Popp established his control/system & it's his franchise, but a Rick or Coach K just wouldn't have that overall power in the NBA.
