To me it doesn't. The only time it does enter into my vision is when they force others......particularly kids......to play along or accept it as normal biology/behavior.
When you see young middle school girls exhibiting exponentially more dysphoria, it might be reason to take this stuff seriously.

That tweet is a perfect example of people on the right not understanding anything about this topic. That article was about a man who dresses in short shorts and a crop top on a hot day getting harassed on the street for dressing like that. It's not about the weather being transphobic. Can people do one ounce of research before they make a smart *** comment about something being transphobic?
No

"people who know science." Give me a break. You do know that biological sex itself is on a spectrum, right? Like there are a lot more combinations of chromosomes than just XX and XY. Thinking that we all fit into a nicely defined Male or Female box is scientifically ignorant.
Yeah, I know there are a very small percentage of people who don’t fit into the XX and XY chromosome categories. Yup. Aware of that.

How many do you personally know?

It doesn't matter if it's a small percentage. Even if it's 0.1% of people that's millions and millions of people. You smart *** holier than thou question on the poll is false. What would you call a person with a uterus, the potential to carry a child, but a barely developed penis externally? From the outside this person would look male. You would have no idea. The real question is who cares? It doesn't affect your life in the slightest what people you don't know define other people you don't know.

How many do you personally know?
That I know of? Zero. But I'm not exactly going around inspecting the genitals of people I know. That's the whole point of this, you wouldn't know. So just let people carry on doing what they want to do. It's not that hard.

By the way, acknowledging that there are a very small percentage of people who fit into something other than the XX and XY “boxes” does not support the conclusion that there is a “spectrum” within the XX and XY boxes. That is a bait and switch and not logic.

Define “woman.” You call my stab at it being a smart ***. You define “woman” for us.

Is an XY person a woman?

Look, I answered "True" to the question as posed by the OP. Nonetheless, it comes as no surprise at all that you'd post this as a serious example of the opposing point of view and are far too stupid to realize that Titania McGrath is a fictitious person created as a parody of the leftist wokemob.
I think you missed his very next post that started “seriously.” So, I doubt very “seriously” that what you quote was intended as you state.

-the answer is true. There is a miniscule percentage of folks that have complicated biology. There is a slightly larger percentage of folks who identify differently from the sex they were born.

^all children of God and should be treated as such.

-as long as it isn't being hoisted upon kids at public school...I have zero problem with it.

-the real issue is...why is an issue that effects so few people so dominant in the cultural zeitgeist.

^Ron nailed the answer, as did the culture war cartoon. They are fleecing the American people financially, spending our cash all over the world with no benefit for us, taking away our freedom and autonomy whilst we sit around arguing about something that is a tiny/niche concern.

^we are losing our wealth and power as a country/people at an alarming rate...but we're concentrating on stupid **** like this. It is theater to distract us while they steal our lives/future.

You are using the statistical rare mutation to argue that a XY man is a woman if he wants to be. I am sure there is a broad consensus among all that if you are one of the hyperrare combos of XXYYXYX etc.... understand that they are abnormal and allow them to wear a dress or a bikini and compete against women. But an XY male should not against XX females. Throwing freakish abnormalities into the debate is done to distract and change the subject. A man cannot have a baby. A human has 10 fingers and toes. A few defenders with 11 fingers does not change a scientific fact....humans have 10 fingers.

In the very near future babies will be birthed in a lab via an artificial womb. I would say you could even engineer your kid to do away with disease and such, choose gender, eye + hair color, etc. Kinda like shopping for a car. You can even watch it grow in real time. You will probably also need money to get one, and a license too, so....

The artificial womb will not be allowed to compete in womens events.

Meh, doubt it. He's a very "special" poster. Apologies in advance though if I misgendered them by using the "he" pronoun.

I dont care what ppl call themselves, you can claim you are whatever. It's narcissistic tho that they believe I need to keep up with all the pronouns...just move on if someone calls you woman bc you are. If I can't remember your pronouns bc some of them say they change daily, its not "literally violence". Btw, literally none of them can define what a woman is...other than a stereotype based on dress. "A woman is a woman"

Gender is just made up anyway. They extracted something out of sex and are trying to replace it. It's like me saying I demand to be called by my adjectives, handsome and smart when you reference me...if not you're a bigot.

My guy....who cares?

If someone wants to be called a banana then who cares? It isn't anyones job to go around telling people how they should feel about ****.

Only a BIOLOGICAL woman can carry and birth a child......but who really cares?

Maybe not to you....maybe not to me.....but in the end what does it matter? Again.....who cares?

Ultimately, it might not matter to any of us. Everyone is free to like what they like, believe what they believe, and even pretend to be something else. Do I care that Sally became Sal next door? Not really. But I kind of care if Sal tries to say "she's" the same as me. "She" is not.

And even more true the other way around. I as a man, can certainly pretend to be a woman, and even think of myself as a woman.. but how can I ever stare a real woman in the face and pretend to know what she has gone through? I don't menstruate. I didn't go through different forms of puberty. I don't make less than the average male. How offensive is it then, for a guy to say to a woman that he "knows what it's like". They don't.

And further, where does this stop. I see trans-autistic is now a thing. I thought I was black up until I was 18. Do I now have not only the right to claim African-American as my race but also expect the black communities to accept me?

At the end of the day, you are what you are. You can be a female, who shares every interest that men have.. nothing wrong with that. But you're still a female. Society can't continue to let people just claim things they aren't. Does a poor person have the right to say "Na I'm rich now" and just go rob someone? Where does it end.

The lefts hypocrisy is what bothers me most. If a patient wants HCQ or Ivermectin off label and finds a doc to write a RX for it then all are anti science antiVax and threatened with the force of the culture and DC.

YET.... If the orthodoxy promoted by the left is the source of the need for off label and unproved drugs not FDA approved for its use...they are all applauded.

My wife wanted to test for Covid, so she called Kroger and asked if she could pick up some test kits via the drive thru. The pharmacy told her, “no, you have to come into the store for those.” 😂

Then, she gets them home and … they expired in April. The Kroger Pharmacy. Nice.

I’m not telling you that you should feel any other way and I’m telling you you’re wrong to feel the way you do. I just don’t see the point in seeking out an argument over a difference in mindset if it’s not physically effecting you.

If for nothing else, I can lose my job if I don't get the pronouns right. Up until last year, when you started at an office, you knew who was a guy, who was a girl, and then those rare "what is that?" occurrences. You had no problem using the correct pronouns, and someone's name was their name from day 1 until their last day.

I have two people on my 20 person team that transitioned. New pronouns and new names. HR made it very clear we are to use them correctly. So if a mistake is made, or worse, if "they" feel wronged, our jobs could be on the line. I basically just avoid them entirely. At every chance I can. Just because they hold this power to completely neutralize anyone in their way.

We simply pushed waaaaay to far in bending over for the trans world.

Amazing the stuff morons are distracted by on both sides while ignoring the actual issues. This thread is a Republican and democratic politicians wet dream. Just talk about nonsense that the lowest common denominator can grasp and get emotional about while the serious and hard hitting issues can either get ignored or manipulated in the powerful’s favor.
The US is allowing dr's to give children as young as 6 hormone blockers. By doing this they are ensuring that these children will never have kids and never be able to have an orgasm. Dr's are prescribing this. I get being too cool for school man but you need to admit sometimes that one side is kinda going off a cliff right now. You can even still hate pubs but we aren't injecting children and basically sterilizing them....

OH. and we aren't grooming children at trans stripper shows. They had a sign on the wall that said "it's not gonna suck itself". They had 8yo kids at that and parents made them put money into the underwear of the stripper....

Both sides though.

If liberals would just say only women can give birth then the question would not need asking. But if one has a child in public schools and the teacher can not or will not answer this simple question, America has a problem. And that problem needs to be addressed.

And I agree Biden has presented us with a very long list of problems that are serious and many are life threatening.
