I just listened to a bunch of legal minds who said this has precedent from the Supreme Court. It ruled in the 1800s that the child was a citizen because their parents were permanent residents, however in the 1920s and 1960s it ruled the child was not a citizen because their parents were temporary workers in the US (which is exactly what Harris's parents were) not smart enough on the law but there are a lot of good legal minds making some great arguments.

I'll play dumb here: Is the argument that she isn't a citizen? Or that her parents weren't citizens and her citizenship isn't valid?

Does the VP have to meet the same requirements as the POTUS? Could he/she simply be passed by in the event that the POTUS is no longer fit to lead?

Reason I ask is.........Alexander Hamilton was NOT a naturally born American citizen. But was Secretary of the Treasury.

It’s just Biff smoke. It’s crap. The 14th amendment is clear and concise. She was born in Oakland in 1964. Game, set, match.

You do realize that Trump did not bring it up, he was asked a question by a liberal reporter and he answered...what world do you guys live on? Circle reporting at it's finest.

L. M. A. O.

She's not a natural born citizen, according to the letter of the law. Neither of her parents were US citizens when she was born.

However, run her heels up left of Stalin *** all day long. That was a great gift that Biden delivered us.

When Hamilton was sec of Treasury only the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House were in line to succeed the President and the Vice President

Our current order of secession wasn't adopted until 1947

So, you didn't answer, can't she just be passed by? Hypothetically, a member of the House can be naturalized, but not native-born, but would also be in line for succeed. I would imagine that they'd just "pass up" that spot since the qualifications were not met.

I've been reading up. Says that the VP must meet the same qualifications as POTUS. Since she was born in Oakland, CA, that shouldn't be a problem.

Look I don't know, but what I do know is one of the most respected lawyer/professors in the country is questioning it and cites precedent. I'm not a lawyer so any opinion I decide on must come from legal experts.

I repeated your words.

Not sure why you love it.
Because it’s not accomplishing anything and you’re just digging your butt boy Trump a deeper hole. I’m enjoying your kind think it’s working by spreading your racist BS and it actually blowing up in your face.
