Season 7 just dropped on Netflix. This show can be very hard-hitting, and you need to be prepared for a wide range of emotions while watching it. The subject matter is very interesting, and the episodes are generally well done.

(*This show is essentially a tech-themed Twilight Zone. Fans of TTZ, The Outer Limits, Tales from the Crypt, or any other anthology horror thriller will probably like this show.)

I watched the first episode when it was released. It was a perverted story where a man was forced to have sex with a pig and it was televised. I turned it off and never watched again.
The first episode of the series relied too much on the shock of the story. There are much better episodes throughout the series. Season 4 and Season 1 are generally considered the best among fans.

I personally like USS Callister (with Jesse Plemons, Season 4) and Nosedive (with Bryce Dallas Howard, Season 3). Much like Tales from the Crypt, there are many cameos of famous actors throughout the show.

OK. I will add it to my list and start with Season 1 Episode 2.

Big Black Mirror fan. ^S1 E2 (The Entire History of You) is one of my favorites. Also Hang the DJ, and Nosedive, as mentioned above.

For anyone who hasn't watched any of the series, I'll suggest how it was first recommended to me: Just watch White Christmas and see if that draws you in. Incredible episode, imo.

Generally, you can watch all seasons / episodes in any order, except S7 has their first-ever sequel.

S7 kinda sucks, unfortunately. After a 6 year hiatus, I expected more.

Yes, that's a good one. S7 has a very similar episode, Hotel Reverie, but imo it's not nearly as good as SJ, and falls flat.

It’s an updated twilight zone albeit more risqué and less smart.
If your definition of smart is, "but then the guy broke his glasses" or "the diner cook has a third eye", ok.

It's like twilight zone, except its actually entertaining most of the way through instead of a 30 minute bore waiting for the twist ending.

The choose your own adventure episode was fun. I had lost interest in the series, but I see there is a sequel to USS Calister I'll have to watch.

As a big horror and sci-fi fan.. this series is one of the tougher watches for me.. some of the episodes are such downers, and you know some twist is going to happen. I love the execution and the ideas they come up with.. but man, after I watched Beyond The Sea, I needed like 2 hours of late nite comedy before I could go to sleep.

I watched Callister sequel last night. I thought it was good. Not as good as first, but well directed where I was pretty engrossed up until the weird ending. And also, it was an excuse to rewatch the first one before, and that's some really great television.

The subscription model one from season seven is a real downer. Can’t believe they opened the season with such a depressing story.

The one with Peter Capaldi about the little sims critters is one of my favorites of the series.

I LOL'd at Season 7, episode 1 when the lady kept upgrading the "cell tower" range and brain function plans every visit. $500, then additional $300 for roaming, then $1000 for the premium plan that knocked the previous plan down to basic. The lady was straight FN them out of money. The last "upgrade" dude could only afford 15 minutes worth. Parts of the show is silly / very corny, but entertaining.

Did you catch that the sales rep for the company was named "Gaynor" (after Gloria Gaynor) and played by Tracee Ellis Ross (daughter of Diana Ross)?

I thought it was generally a good episodes. There were some parts to story that had me asking, "Why don't they just do this or do that?" though. I thought for sure that he was going to end up filming themselves having sex (when he was able to use the app to adjust her sensualities) and just becoming erotic cam performers to afford the upgrades, but they didn't take it down that route.
