They handled Michigan with ease....we'll winThey better hope PSU's lineup blacks out...that's the only chance they have at winning.
If OSU runs out the same HWT they did against Parris, Kerk wins by a major at a minimum.Prediction:
125-Heinselman major (4-0)
133-RBY dec...Mendez is a tough customer (4-3)
141-Bartlett dec (7-3)

Your scoring is actually 24-7, you messed it up with the Bartlett win, but we get it, we should kick *** !Prediction:

The Ohio State wrestlers have always seemed like respectable, classy guys. Tom, on the other hand, frequently, sounds like sour grapes. The bigger question is will Tom bring out the robes on Friday night? Lol………
Only if there is questionable referees and the heat is turned up too high. The bigger question is will Tom bring out the robes on Friday night? Lol………
Yep, thanks for catching it…and yes, I think a butt kicking is in order.Your scoring is actually 24-7, you messed it up with the Bartlett win, but we get it, we should kick *** !
Not going to matter. Worse case Ohio St wins 4 matches.OSU will be expecting us to be over confident. That team and arena is ready….
I think we get a lot of bonus points in this match. The score will be higher in our favor.Your scoring is actually 24-7, you messed it up with the Bartlett win, but we get it, we should kick *** !
I know what you are saying, but I have a friend who coached with Tom, and as a result, I have been in his company a few times. He has always been great to talk to. A nice guy…… to me. He just laughs when I bring up the robes and said, “That was not a great idea…….but I love them. But no more robes!” Lol……The Ohio State wrestlers have always seemed like respectable, classy guys. Cael stated Steen was a little banged upWhat is Marco Vespa's story? Is Steen injured or is Vespa beating him in the Room?

Fair enough. He just sounds like a big whiner when he blames losing on the bus ride, the heat in the arena, and the questionable referees. Just be a big boy and own the loss.I know what you are saying, but I have a friend who coached with Tom, and as a result, I have been in his company a few times. He has always been great to talk to. SVN needs to start showing something, not impressive the last few matches, I think this is very possible.SVN 6-2 over Sasso
Please don’t expect SVN to beat him. I’d love to see it happen. Sammy is excellent at winning close matches.SVN needs to start showing something, not impressive the last few matches, I think this is very possible.
Sammy > Muirin.....I hope SVN gets back to shooting and wrestles at his pacePlease don’t expect SVN to beat him. I’d love to see it happen. Sammy is excellent at winning close matches.
Ok Jbott. I tried hard to ignore Ryan tonight and give him the benefit of the doubt but he was obnoxious tonight. The tipping point for me was when he yelled “choke him” loud and clear in one of the last matches. He’s an embarrassment to the sport and has no class. He’s a whiny *****. You can tell him that’s what our fan base thinks of him.
It was a knockout blackout the 2nd half of the match....................Another big test this weekend in Columbus, the atmosphere will be crazy!

Heinselman is a fifth year Sr ranked #10 and 19-2 for the season. Steen is an undersized freshman forced into the lineup due to Howard’s injury. Let’s give both wrestlers a little credit here.My question is, is Steen beating anybody anywhere? Heinselman not noted for being great on top put Steen on his back rather easily.
I wouldn't go as far as saying he is an embarrassment to the sport and has no class, but he bitched and moaned the whole night(trying to steal a call) and by the end of the match was extremely frustrated with the lack of effort at 197 and Hwt. I said he was a nice guy to talk to, the few times I met him, not that I agreed with his "mat side coaching antics"!Ok Jbott. Healthy Howard top 4 at 125 next year if healthyIt's a little crazy the tailspin that Nick Suriano put Penn State on at 125 when he decided to leave. Robbie Howard's injury situation certainly hasn't helped and has created a perfect storm at the weight class that for most has seemed like a black hole for the past 5-6 years. Someone previously mentioned Brandon Courtney from Arizona St given the situation there with Richie Figueroa....no idea if Figueroa has won that spot or if Courtney is injured (word is that he is hurt and could possibly medical redshirt). It will be interesting to see how ASU handles that and if they can keep both wrestlers happy. Maybe Courtney moves up to 133 next year, or maybe he is a transfer candidate. Getting a former national finalist would be a big pickup for Penn State and fill the biggest gap in the lineup at the moment. Maybe Howard will be ready to go next year, but will he be able to hold 125? We'll also need a 133 for next year and probably can't depend on an incoming true freshman to fill that spot.
Let’s hope those shoulders hold up.Healthy Howard top 4 at 125 next year if healthy
I really want to like Tom Ryan because from what I’ve seen off of the mat he seems like a decent guy, but his antics during matches make it really hard.I wouldn't go as far as saying he is an embarrassment to the sport and has no class, but he bitched and moaned the whole night(trying to steal a call) and by the end of the match was extremely frustrated with the lack of effort at 197 and Hwt.
