This post is demonic to me. I genuinely don’t understand how Christian conservatives can continue to support or defend this. It would do Trump good in terms of approval if he deleted all his socials.

Is that man suffering from TDS or Suicidal Empathy? I would encourage the Pope to concentrate on fixing Catholic Charities that's involved in human trafficking instead of playing expert on National Security stuff. Go do missionary work there instead of encouraging open borders. The Islamic Jihadist take advantage of his kindness and a lot of his parishioners understand that.

Encouraging diplomacy/peace and discouraging war is pretty spot on for the pope

Do you generally post AI photos depicting yourself as Jesus Christ? Terrible sense of humor, if so.

Was he depicting himself as Jesus Christ? Sounds like you are about to pull a hamstring. He's not even attacking the Pope here in the big picture. He's reminding people to stay in their lane.

Maybe the Pope should concentrate on being the Pope instead of falling for Socialist ideology.

Pope Urban II ordered the First Crusade by delivering a sermon at the Council of Clermont on November 27, 1095. He called for Western Christians to take up arms to help the Byzantine Empire and recapture the Holy Land (specifically Jerusalem) from Muslim rule, promising remission of sins for participants.
History.com +3

Key Popes and the Crusades:
  • Pope Urban II
    (1088–1099):

Launched the First Crusade at the Council of Clermont with the cry "Deus vult!" ("God wills it!") in 1095.
    • Pope Gregory VII (1073–1085): While he didn't launch a formal Crusade, he suggested a military expedition to the East in 1074, laying early groundwork.
    • Subsequent Popes: Following Urban II, many popes continued to call for further crusades throughout the 12th and 13th centuries, including Pope Eugene III (Second Crusade) and Pope Innocent III (Fourth Crusade).

Pope Eugene III
authorized the Second Crusade (1147–1149). He issued the papal bull Quantum praedecessores on December 1, 1145, calling for a new crusade after the fall of the County of Edessa.

I hate all religions as much as I hate political parties ... the catholic church should be feeding the poor and not the government. They have enough money put up to end poverty in the world .... thats just gold in Rome.

It was originally posted in Feb by Nick Adams prior to any of the pope drama. I know what vast majority of folks are going to think it is regardless of intent.

Most Americans don't support open borders and a lot of Catholics want a Pope and Church Leaders that's not suffering from suicidal empathy.

I'm not Catholic but several Popes called for Christians to be protected from being Conquered from Muslims. The same people complaining about this are critical of the Crusades and former Popes. So the fake outrage is laughable.

Seems like some of these older Popes understood what they were up against.

Must be getting pretty thin on material if this is what the liberals are clutching their pearls over today.

I'm going with the older Popes in history on this. I suggest the New Pope study why they did what they did.

NOW: President Trump fires back at Pope Leo "I think he's very weak on crime and other things!" "He's wrong...Iran wants to exterminate the world. Not gonna happen!" "You could not have a nuclear Iran. And Pope Leo would not be happy with the end result! You have hundreds of millions of people DEAD." "I mean, he went public. I'm just responding to Pope Leo. And you know his brother is a big mega person, and he's a great guy." "Now, you have to have law and order in our country, and that's what we have now. We have the lowest crime numbers we've had in a long time."

Oh that's it...now I'm done with Christ! Trump and @EER_Nation have convinced me to turn Athiest and join the secular Globalist World Socialist movement for gender neutrality, racial preferential equality, environmental equilibrium, & economic social justice.

All it took was a picture of Trump comparing himself to the Savior of mankind to open my eyes! Just think, two thousand years of Biblical Prophecies wiped out in one Truth Social "Truth" from a man who allowed himself to be defeated by a walking corpse!

My how gullible I've been! Thank You @EER_Nation for opening my eyes. Should I now throw away Almighty God's Holy Word and start reading Marx? 🤣

WOW! Rep. Tim Burchett just said Sec. Marco Rubio is CUTTING OFF the wasteful and fraudulent NGO spending The NGO Industrial Complex is crashing down!
🔥
"They're going to go STRAIGHT to the countries that have jurisdiction over those programs. And what that'll do...it'll allow further control and it won't go to a bunch of shady politicians who will funnel it right back to this country, to our shady politicians, and hopefully eliminate that process!" "So that is incredible news. That will be a huge savings for us because it's just overrun with fraud. You know how it works." "That is what I voted for, dadgummit!"

Trump can speak eloquently on Christ or the Bible's message of protecting Life ordained by Almighty God as he recently did during the national Prayer Breakfast, he got not one mention or Thanks from anyone of the folks so "outraged" today by a meme someone posted of him resembling Christ.

Amazing to me how more folks are upset over a picture of Trump emulating Christ, yet when he speaks Truthfully for Christ or even God & Religion in our lives, it's totally ignored.

TRANSCRIPT: President Trump Addresses the National Prayer Breakfast at the Capitol, 2.5.26

excerpt
"To be a great nation, however, I think -- and I may be wrong, but I don't think so because I've watched a lot and I study a lot. You have to have religion; you have to have it. You have to have faith; you have to have God. It's all spirit and it includes religion. I've always said, you just can't have a great country if you don't have religion. You have to believe in something."

......

"And my administration also rejoined the Geneva consensus declaration to affirm the right to sovereign nations to protect life, defend the family and to be faithful to God."
....

"Quite simply, prayer is America's superpower. It really is a superpower, and it always has been and it always will be."

Trump said all that!

No one critical of Trump's "blasphemy" today said a word congratulating him for those words spoken in reverence to Christ and Almighty God. No one.

Can you tell us exactly what's got you so upset over someone "mocking" Jesus? He's mocked every day when folks ignore or refuse to accept his FREE gift of his Sacrifice for Sinners!

Why does a picture of someone resembling him upset you more than someone rejecting him?

Think about that, then ask yourself:

When's the last time YOU refused to accept a FREE gift? I'll bet it's almost never happened yet look how many folks refuse Christ's FREE gift of Salvation!

If you truly want to get angry about something over Christ, isn't that something more legitimate?

Communism is just one of the many other "isms" offered by those who ultimately reject Christ.

Put them all under the umbrella of Secular "Humanism" ....the Spirit of disbelief...the Spirit of Anti-Christ.

All the other "isms" out there share that common thread.

They have infiltrated Churches and are allowing Europe to be over run with Muslims and Socialist and where doing the same here.

This is suicidal empathy that wasn't shared with Popes who lived this before. So either he's wrong or several popes in the past were wrong. I would recommend the Catholic Church and Europe to find a Charles the Hammer to get to work for them.

Charles Martel (c. 688–741) was nicknamed "the Hammer" (Martel in Old French) because of his brutal and relentless military tactics, which smashed opponents, most famously at the Battle of Tours in 732. As Mayor of the Palace, his victory against Islamic forces stopped the Umayyad expansion into Europe.

Good Lord Man! 'Ya know no offense because I at times enjoy reading what you offer here, but you have this penchant to go waaaaaay off point whenever I mention Christ.

Not sure what you believe or even if you believe, but you somehow manage to avoid mentioning him while you're steady diving into anything & everything else. 🤔

Why is that?

I think the Pope as well as some other Church leaders need to wake up instead of being woke before they get their flock destroyed. Not sure what's so hard to understand about that as many Catholics and Christians agree with that thought process.

BAIER: Do you think that when the president says it's 'hurting [Pope Leo] very badly, catering to the radical left? It's hurting the Catholic Church.' You agree with the president there? JD VANCE: "I certainly think that in some cases, it would be best for the Vatican to stick to matters of morality, to stick to matters of what's going on in the Catholic Church and let the president United States stick to dictating American public policy

The OP is more from a place of curiosity. How can someone that identifies as a “Christian” continue to support someone whose every action is the opposite of their supposed beliefs and values? This is Blasphemy in its purest form and the Bible has strong language against it.

Trump wasn't depicting himself as Jesus or the pope. Those on the left jump at anything to bash Trump.

Let's stick to policies and stop the "Get Trump" at all cost BS. You leftists wear yourselves out with hatred. It's a sickness.

For crying out loud. Get a grip.
That's it @30CAT ....Trump haters just always looking for anything they can find in hopes of bashing him or eroding his support. They can't beat him with anything policy based, so they glom onto anything they think turns his supporters against him.
