Husker fans, turn the page. Mark "Bo" Pelini is no longer coach at Nebraska. I hope he has a pile of money stashed away somewhere because I don't think anyone else will hire him. Probably the only reason YSU hired Bo is because Jim Tressel, the former Ohio State coach, is the president at Youngstown. When Tressel became the head coach at YSU years ago, Pelini was the very first player-recruit Tressel offered a football scholarship to. So there you have it.

Pelini is there because of the DeBartolo family and Tressel.

Simply put, no. I want to see the guy go down in flames. He tried as hard as he could at the end to ruin something I love. And to top it off he blindly hated me for no reason. I realize it's probably not healthy or mature of me to want him to fail, but I'm rooting against him and always will.

SO THERE!

He probably had to stay after school and write on a blackboard " I am Lord Voldemort " 100 times.
The only thing appropriate would be for him to be suspended from coaching in their next game IMO. Private reprimands don't mean squat and obviously they can't fine him enough money for it to hurt.

You know what they say about Karma, and I personally don't want any of the bad kind by wishing him ill will, but hope Bo takes some time to fix himself.

The situation is just magnified right now because he thinks he's too good for the league he's in.
He is finding out there is a lot of talent at every level. I am sure he worked hard; but ironically, a catchy nickname probably helped him get to the right place at the right time. In the hat incident, I believed he just missed - that could have been "it " , if he hadn't whiffed.

I think he's going to do a full on Woody.

So he'd be more like a real human being and less of a super-raging crazy guy on the sidelines if he was a head coach in the NFL? I feel like I'm gonna hafta disagree.

Bo is a full-on potato.

Being completely honest I am enjoying the train wreck much like he probably enjoyed our struggles this year. The guy needs to get professional help before he has a stroke on the sideline. He is rapidly becoming completely unemployable. People will tolerate an incredible amount of crap if you win. When you get exposed as a fraud and do nothing to correct your horrendous behavior, doors close in your face and you end up arguing with YMCA refs over whether or not that ball was placed on the T correctly.

Some people say Bo should not be coaching D1, and I think Dirk or Shatel or someone said Youngstown was a good place for him. I disagree. The man should not be coaching anything. Honestly, he should not be employed anywhere.

I must be on the wrong Board. I thought this was suppose to about NEBRASKA!

It is. Former Nebraska coach and all around asshat did something dumb so we're laughing at him. It's along the same lines of when someone mentions what Suh and Ameer are doing in the NFL. They're not here either. I don't remember you complaining about them being mentioned.

It is, as far as I'm concerned, Bo has very little to do about sports. I'd rather talk about food.

The head coach of a college football team has very little to do with sports? Ok........You can just say you don't want to talk about him, or even just, you know, not join in a thread talking about him, instead of making up weird excuses.

Oh man, if I was only computer savy enough, a bottle of hot sauce imposed over that hat, open end facing the official! Come on, it'd be funny!

Not following very closely and getting the sarcasm are you. The food comment is in direct correlation to not wanting to talk about one of the worst leaders I've ever seen. Why even bring the guy up? He's a huge black eye for the college sport of football IMO.

Exactly. How anyone can take him seriously is beyond me.

His press conference was a complete joke. I would of asked him how does he expect to teach discipline, control and problem solving skills to these young men when you have shown an utter lack of understanding these basic skills yourself?

Why did you take the time to enter the thread, read it, and then post about something you don't care about? Most of us here want to see the destruction to him that he caused to NU football.
