From Jersey City street ball to NCAA greatness & the moment he almost lost it all. Bobby Hurley's story, 4/12 10pm ET ESPN. Thought others might be interested to see this.
No problem, looking forward to seeing this story all put together. Thanks for the heads-up dbd32, always interested in seeing anything concerning Duke. Bobby Hurley is one of my all-time favorite Duke players!
Just thought I would try to bump this post up, so that those that may have missed it will have a change to watch. Tonight, Tuesday, April 12 @ 10 p.m. on ESPN.
Go Duke!!

Not sure -- as a D1 coach, there are probably a lot of scheduling conflicts.Doesn't he attend many Duke games I believe he has a daughter that attends Duke
Amen..... So you all of you Hurley haters out there go ahead and hate but you would love to have him in your corner.

Jalen Rose's entire post-playing career brand is "Duke hater." We made him what little he is today. Stick that in your bong and smoke it, Jalen. Oh wait, I forgot, you prefer the sauce.
How long can someone stay bitter? He should practice being thankful for the good things in his life instead of whining about not being recruited by Krzyzewski and trashing the people who did.
Allow me to play devil's advocate.
I believe Jalen often goes over the top when ranting about Duke due to his employer being ESPN. ESPN wants as many clicks, listens, or viewers as possible, and this is easily done by having one of their loudest basketball analyst's ranting about hating Duke.
I am in no way defending Jalen, I listened to his Jalen & Jacoby podcast daily for about 6 months, but then decided to stop, due to the fact that he repeats the same stories and sayings over and over and over.
Also, wouldn't you be bitter about the squad that blew you out in the National Championship???
Him calling out Grant Hill in the Fab Five documentary was uncalled for, but also that has been the #1 selling documentary ESPN has ever produced. So, in a way, most of America enjoys him hating on Duke, just not us.
ESPN really sucks. As much as they say that they cater to Duke, they sure like to have people who hate Duke work for them. I guess I just assumed that the show was supposed to honor Bobby Hurley not have Jalen Rose go on about how he was a whiner and a poor sport. Overall I liked the show, but they really just reused interviews that they used in the Laettner 30 for 30 and the 91 and 92 tribute show. But it was pretty cool to see Bobby as a coach inside of the locker room. I hope he makes it because I love his fire.
I have no issue with the Rose segment it's part of the overall picture.
