I think this is much more about the rather desperate position that Jimbo finds himself at TxA&M, than vagabond Petrino. No one can blame Bobby for doing what he does best.

Bobby straight up does not care about how people perceive him. When we first got to know him, he seemed like the awkward, quiet type off the field. I shared an elevator with him once at then PJCS. I made some kind of jovial comment towards him, and he just seemed painfully shy. But, there he went, acting like a crazed fool for well over a decade with absolutely no remorse.

I don’t think coach at this level cares about public perception. I think it is more about caring about doing the right thing. That appears to be Petrino’s problem.
