Amile will be starting because he's the better player for now. Bolden will get plenty of time.

Amile was playing brilliant basketball last year. He is always in position and never makes mistakes. You don't have to block shots if your team keeps guys out the lane. It's more impotant to rotate on time. Amile is glue.
Actually, with Giles coming off injury, the early lineup could be:
C - Bolden
PF - Amile
SF - Tatum
G - Grayson
G - Jackson
With Giles slowly getting PT until he enters the starting lineup in December. Jeter could be in the mix at the start, but I am not so sure he will be that much better and he doesn't have the length or athleticism that Bolden does. And, I think that it will actually suit Duke better to have a veteran like Amile come off the bench. If K can convince him, and I think he can, he can make the point that he He can play all three front court spots (the 3, 4, and 5), and get 20 mpg doing so. And, that gives Duke an immediate defensive boost off the bench, as well as great poise.
They idea of bringing Amile, Kennard, Jones and Jeter off the bench - which will bring maturity and poise and some solid defense - is pretty intriguing.
I look for Tatum to be a star because of his shooting skills and overall offensive skills from all over the court. Giles, and even to a greater extent, Bolden, have been able to dominate inside (Giles has ball skills which makes him a top talent but his game still needs development).
This plethora of options is really great!
How K ultimately uses Amile and Jones is a very intriguing story line to me. While they are way ahead in experience and leadership, there are incoming freshmen who are arguably more skilled (and have higher ceilings). I think they both begin the year starting, and I think Amile will probably never leave the starting lineup. But it will be interesting to watch. They both have a knowledge of K's system, and they will be the team's best communicators.

We have so much talent and scorers this coming year ..I'm a little worried with chemistry and everybody buying in and playing unselfishly,but I'm guessing the other 200 or whatever teams would take that problem and run!!! 40-0?
No 40-0 talk that's for UK fans to talk about. Lol. We play in a much more difficult conference and to be honest I would like to lose at least one or two games so this team understands what it's like to lose so they don't have the feeling of being invincible when the tournament starts. As far as chemistry is concerned Coach K will know what to do to have these guys playing as a team. It's going to be fun to watch!

No no no, they aren't going 40-0. As already mentioned, that's too tough of a conference to go 40-0. Ain't happening. They may go 3-4 losses only though.
And Trevor was some guy (supposedly) who went on and on about Duke fans here being tools (or something similar). He did make one really good point though - this board is very slow compared to other Duke boards (and especially compared to the Hole board and RR). I think a big reason for that is the posse that is here, and the fact that there are a couple of people here who are wanksta over the keyboard, attacking anyone that is new, showing some sort of paranoia that they can't really be new (and damn definitely not a long-time reader) but rather one of the long list of people who were recently run-off.....

I'd love to see us go 40-0 but I don't expect it happen and if it happens then I'll be really surprised. I see us going something like 37-3 or 36-4.

That athletisim is unreal.then if you want to play big not saying that lineup isn't lol but you can play Bolden Giles Tatum at the same time lol. Man the lineup possibilities are endless with the ball handling and athletic ability of our big men and endless supply guards lol. I can't wait. I'm just praying everybody stays healthy and Giles can get healthy. Marks a douche ..
