I'll be funny seeing all the kind words thrown his way by the lefties the next few days.

Looks like Flynn will be eligible to retake that position before too much longer.

I wonder what the policy issue was that led to this? I’m guessing Bolton and him are disagreeing about Iran, Bolton likely wanting a war and Trump wanting out of the region.

Pretty simple: Bolton objected to the Taliban meeting, Trump did not........

I'd imagine ME policy in general. Mattis et al said we need a continued presence there. Biff says otherwise.

We absolutely need a continued presence there. Obama made the same mistake. If we pull out, it will create a power vacuum and it’ll be a repeat of 2014-2017 where we have to retake ground for the 3rd time or concede the ME, which would be bad.

lol, see how freaking idiotic they are? Well, if trump fired him the liberals will now love him! Their pea brains can't hold two opposing thoughts at the same time. Trump can't run an administration let alone a Country but he can easily be king of the racist rubes and take down the GOP. Tonight should be interesting in NC.

Trump won that area of NC by double digits in 2016. Should be a cakewalk for Republicans

Right. And the "smart people" in your party are about to nominate an old fart who can't even remember what State he's in from day to day! Real brilliant leadership on the Horizon from the lobotimized Left. [eyeroll]

Glad Bolton is out. All he wants is war. Kind of like you and your Civil War II.

You don't think we're smack in the middle of a civil "war" right now in terms of the culture and philosophical differences of governing between the Left and the Right?

You're drunk.

I'm not sad to see him go.

All that matters is who's still in charge calling the shots. Can't say I disagreed with much of his geopolitical strategy, but I'm not the President who obviously did.

Oh well....NEXT!!!!!!

I think the political parties want you to think that this is a war - good vs evil. I don't buy into that. The majority of the country is between the 2 extremes, and the parties are moving to the extremes. We need to get to a point where our representatives aren't acting like they are at war with folks on the other side. The problem is that it plays well. It's soap opera politics. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we heard that John McCain is actually alive and he had a twin brother who passed away last year, tomorrow on "As the Gavel Peals".

That's funny! I do agree with you the ruling class cares little more about anything else than collecting, amassing, and holding power but we get the type of leadership we ask for.

What disappoints me is we can't agree on a set of standards that's correct, works, is good for everyone and beneficial to our foundational freedoms. Sadly, we have many folks who simply don't appreciate those things that bind us into our common heritage as free self governing people, and we're all too willing to surrender that unique heritage without a fight.
