Simple things can help. My daughter and 2 grandchildren were recently up from Florida. The last time I was down there, I gave her a revolver and shotgun and took her and her husband by their local range. Anyhow, I stressed to her yesterday, on your way home (or anywhere really), don't just walk out the gas station door and start moving. Take a second to scope out the area you are headed for. If things look suspicious, go back inside and wait awhile. Know what you are walking into before you get there.

Exactly. Your brain will always be your primary defense......your firearm is your backup. Criminals want easy targets of opportunity. They would sooooo much rather target someone that looks oblivious and not well protected over someone who is very aware and looks possibly protected.

I have the P238 as one of my carry guns, mostly for the summer when I can drop it in pocket of cargo shorts, etc. Love that gun.

Hickock45 is awesome and I subscribe to his channel.

Those little .22 mag revolvers are great little carry guns for hand to hand distance, they carry quite a pop.
