You are? Where are these cracker plants?

Cadiz is one.

To bring this thing full circle:

The EPA had nothing to do with the death of coal. Natural gas killed coal.

You realize Utica and Marcellus Shale gas just took off a few years ago? 2010. The shale gas has flooded the market.

No it hasnt. Nobody is taking gas out of the ground so it isnt in the market.

And then I went on to explain that cracker plants already exist in Ohio and PA and pipelines already exist.

I also shared production amounts for various years to show you gas has been extracted.

I'm going to bed. If you want another lesson sweety, just let me know.

There are wells that can produce more gas each day than cadiz can process. Single wells. The cracker plants that are in planning and construction will process exponentially more gas. Most of those wells are not producing at all right now because the demand is not there and the pipelines are not there. Most wells that are able to produce are only one of several wells that have yet to even be drilled at a site. Massive pipeline systems are either being planned or constructed currently.

With all of that said, gas is not drastically hurting the coal market. A lot of things are hurting it and gas is one of them and regulation is another. The regulation part will take many more hits thanks to economic friendly government.

Royal Dutch Shell’s pipeline company is seeking commitments from shippers for a new ethane pipeline that will connect the company’s planned petrochemical facility in Beaver County, Pennsylvania with ethane from eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania, reports the Pittsburgh Business Times. The newspaper says the 92.3-mile Falcon Pipeline would run from Cadiz, Ohio, and Houston, Pennsylvania, to Beaver County to serve Shell’s new ethane “cracker” plant. Shell said pipeline construction will start in late 2018 and shipments of ethane could begin as soon as 2020.

A pipeline owned by Shell that will connect the upcoming ethane cracker with ethane from Ohio and Pennsylvania will begin construction in late 2018, according to the multinational company.

The Falcon Pipeline is a 92.3-mile project between Cadiz, Ohio, and Houston, Pa., with both connecting to a point in Beaver County that is close to the multibillion-dollar petrochemical plant that Shell wants to build on the banks of the Ohio River in Potter Township.

Shell Pipeline Co. LP announced on Monday that it was seeking commitments from shippers on the ethane pipeline, which will carry at least 107,000 barrels of the chemical byproduct of natural gas to the plant. The shipping of ethane could happen as soon as 2020, according to documents filed on the Shell website.

“The new pipeline will enhance ethane supply while building new and reliable infrastructure in a strategic growth market,” said John Hollowell, an executive vice president for Shell Pipeline, said in a statement released Monday.

The substructure pipelines that will feed these massive pipelines are being built now and in the past year. The drilling in the region since 2008 produced the gas that will feed these pipelines upon completion.
