I don't know about private-public or Chicago-downstate but I DO know all of these games are boring mismatches.
I also know that in most cases earlier round games were more competitive.
I thought the idea was to have the two best teams play for the championship.
Where am I going wrong here?

How about just try to make sure the two best teams in each class play in the championship game?

They played Naz tough twice. If this was a down year then it solidifies my point even more about separation.

I'm starting to agree with separation. Public Schools are just not very good at football in the lower classes. I want to see Montini vs Naz. The poor little public schools aren't very good and keep getting their feelings hurt. People like HHS cry and whine so much, so just let them have their less quality football championships. Think about potential naz vs montini games, SHG vs MC, a semi finals of Marist vs BR. MBac vs whoever, that would be more competitive and fun. Divide private schools in 2 classes or just 1. Then determine who is really the best. Especially now a days once someone's feelings get hurt we have to adhere to them.
