I did vote for him- but I'm a realist. Do you really think they are letting him back in?
The University would have a big problem if Barry wins the election, and they don't let him on the board. A big part of the University's argument in the last court appearance was that he could run as a write-in, and therefore they didn't need to put him on the ballot.

Why I don't think those ballot's will ever see the light of day.... They will say Barry didn't have enough votes and it's time to move on. From an entertainment standpoint it would be great watching Noogy have an epic meltdown.

Anyone know if the vote count is public record?

Exactly what I expect to happen. Barry write-in, to the trash bin.

Barry, I've got a couple of questions: Where can someone request a ballot? I don't think you need to be an alumnus to vote, so could you please let me know the eligibility requirements? I know a few people that may qualify, but I'm not sure

Easiest way to get ballot is here:
YesElections: Online Ballot
Enter in your graduation year and DOB, and go straight to the ballot, and write in Barry J Fenchak Class of 1984

Grads from any PSU campus (incl World Campus), or any PSU professional school (including Dickinson Law) are eligible.

If you didn't graduate, but completed 2 or more semesters (and are not a current student), you can also vote.
For those folks I recommend calling YesElections directly, since most folks in that situation that I have talked to had trouble with the online system. This is the number to call: 855-224-0832

Barry, my wife's cousin graduated from Penn College. Can he vote?
I would recommend folks in that position should call YesElections directly - at this number: 855-224-0832

They should be able to (same thing from graduates of the Law Schools) - but I am wary as to whether the website system was properly calibrated to do that automatically.
If your cousin does call, please report back with how their ballot was accommodated. Thanks.

It turns out Penn College is in the drop-down window as "Penn State College of Technology", so yes, Penn College grads are supposed to be able to vote, but there's still a glitch that I'm waiting for an answer on. There is no reasonable choice in the "College" drop-down box and choosing the incorrect one would most likely invalidate the ballot.

Well, YesElections got back to me and said they weren't sure about Penn College and told me to call the Alumni Office at 800 548-5466. The Alumni office staff took about 5 minutes of attempting to answer the question about Penn College and told me to call the Trustee Office at 814 865-8010. The Trustee Office couldn't answer my question right away but offered to call me after doing some research. I promptly got a return call, and it turns out Penn College Alumnae are NOT allowed to vote in the election.

I also confirmed that those with at least two semesters who haven't graduated may indeed vote. However, they may vote only if they've officially withdrawn from the University, even if it's been years since taking a class.

Come on people, let's get this done. Voting closes tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 9:00AM. Just click on the link, and it'll take you to a screen to enter your information and a second screen to actually vote. If you want Barry to win, you should consider only voting for Barry.

If you care about honesty, integrity and competency, and actually care about Penn State ... don't vote for Barry Fenchak.

If you don't care about any of those things, and are only driven by pettiness regarding a Joe Paterno agenda, then vote for Barry.

I voted for Barry only as did my wife (received her ballot as a PSU Dickinson grad). Curious to see this play out...

Ahhh....the micro-lender from the Greater Boston area opines.

Has your wife advised you that it's not good to indoctrinate your offspring into activities that you liked as a youth, but weren't good at.

Lubrano was a better baseball player than you, wasn't he? ;);)

So when will this farce- eh, election- be over and the preordained result announced?

Ah, yes ... "if I don't win, it's not fair" ... where have we heard that before?

Last year voting was open until May 2nd, and results were announced May 3rd.

So if the timing holds, we'll find out tomorrow.

And then, if your guy wins, you can proclaim everything to be fair and just, and if your guy loses, you can cry that it was a fixed shamockery.

Most of us voted for Barry just to witness an @Moogy meltdown. 😎
