Both Kyler and Baker have a similar problem.

It reminds me of Sam's same dilemma. Be the first guy picked, make a ton of money, and then an OLine that can get you hurt.

Kyler made a remarkable comeback in his first official NFL start. Down 24-6 into the 4th quarter, they got an FG, then a TD, and then another TD and a two point conversion to tie the game at 24-24.

Went to OT. Both teams got a field goal on their first possession. A Cardinal possession stalled at midfield, and the Lions couldn't get past their own 20 as the clock ran out, after a punt. Larry Fitzgerald caught a touchdown pass.

Baker got smoked by 30, at home against the Titans.

I thought that KM should have taken off @ least once in o/t to move the chains to get a fg chance but maybe he saw the spy. Oh well at least a tie !

My boys told me after returning from the game vs Houston: neither Baker or Kyler's statues are up yet in Heissman park. Any anticipated dates for these to be done or reasons why they are delayed ?

There was a statement from the AD a few months ago. IIRC the gist of it was the statues won't be up for awhile. They're not exactly easy to procure.

Mayfield was holding his throwing arm funny after the safety, then followed by 3 picks (who who knows how bad his wrist injury is). If Kitchens had any sense he would have pulled Baker from further harm to fight another day, especially with the left tackle ejected. 180+ yards in penalties - at some point that falls on the HC and the lack of control of his team. A bit worried for the Browns at this point with that leadership....

I heard Kitchens' post game presser. He seemed to say that they only suited out seven OL's for the game, and three got hurt. So their Offensive Line problems were pretty pronounced. They sucked pretty badly against the Titans. Generally, it's about the weakest part of their team, anyway. Then injury and ejection and injury created some serious issues.

Baker really didn't have much of a chance.
