Should i feel privileged? I feel liberated. My kids like the warmer pool, but hate when I am using the blower as it covers up the 80's station I blast through my outdoor speakers.

Are you charging it with solar panels? I recently had a chat with my financial guy who relayed some interesting tidbits about Tesla and SolarCity. I have stocks in both Tesla and Solar City. SolarCity spokesman Jonathan Bassmade made the comment that the Tesla 7kWh version would not work well with his companies solar panels. That did not sit very well with Elon Musk who is the CEO of Tesla. The interesting part is that Musk is the chairman as well one of the founders of SolarCity. I don't know if there are any major problems. Tesla and SolarCity are now working very closely on this project.

Now that's what I call an early-adopter.

I myself blow very hot and very cold on Elon Musk. Sometimes, I find him a amazing visionary and others to be just another South African blowhard. He's developed the system more or less solely as a "customer" for his new battery plant. which I though was a pretty decent idea., But a whole house generator would do the job for me if I wanted to spend the money for standby power....and they have quite a bit more history behind them

I guess I'm saying I probably wouldn't buy one of these anytime soon; but never is definitely too strong a word. Meanwhile, good luck to you; I hope you don't have to use it too often.
