Very hard to play shortstop at 6'5". Cal Ripken was able to do it and ARod when he was younger, they were 6'4" or so, do not remember anyone bigger playing there in MLB. ARod was moved to 3B later in his career in deference to Jeter, which is a very hard position to play or adjust to playing, and ARod became quite good there. He had good natural instincts and reflexes. Jeter on the other hand was not good at SS his last 3 or 4 years, as he lost significant range, which happens to players when they age.

I think Bouk made a wise career choice. As Tim Tebow, Michael Jordan, John Elway and others have learned, baseball is a very, very hard sport to play on the professional level.

The NY Post is doing a great job covering UConn and the Big East Tournament. Sometimes it seems the non local guys either get more access or don’t just use the stuff UConn spoon feeds the local guys. They provide new angles. It’s also his hometown paper.

I have read 4 NBA Mock Drafts which have him going 8, 8, 10 and 12th overall. He seems to be the consensus 3rd best shooting guard behind Jalen Green and Moses Moody, both of whom are a little bigger than James.
