He prolly still thinks "wide left" very first thing every time he wakes up. Then he remembers how conveniently blind the refs went during our Orange Bowl and feels better.
Do I recall he wasn't happy about being "forced out"? Might explain the U.
yeah got a pretty raw deal but he's put that behind and is active with FSU. a good man and a great coach.
He turns 90 in three months. His birthday is two days after mine. I wish my father could have lived so long.

I got the joke without getting offended.
I've had good friends die from it....but I still joke about it. Otherwise you just cry. My favorite is to make an excuse for my forgetfulness by claiming I have Oldstimer's disease. I told my wife if she ever was worried about me having Alzheimer's to buy nursing home insurance BEFORE she takes me to the doctor. She took out the policy last year.
They say if you're worried about having it, you don't have it.Guy goes to the doctor to get his test results. Doctor solemnly says he has 2 pieces of bad news. “Firstly, you have AIDS.” The guy is terrified and weeps bitterly. The doctor waits until he recovers a bit and then says, “You also have Alzheimer’s.” The guy gets all happy and says, “Thank God, I thought you were going to tell me I had AIDS!”
My kids frequently tell me if I ever get Alzheimer's they might not notice.
