I'm not sure if Vandy getting bowl eligible will have any ramifications. I could see MCB taking the home town team. I'll be happy with any bowl game. If I could get tickets to the Ole Miss basketball game the Liberty Bowl would be a blast.

The Music City Sports Council does not want Vandy. No hotel revenue or downtown revenus withthe home town ream. MCB will do anything it can to stay away from Vandy

Most people already assume that. We should be in the 6 bowl pool regardless. The question is, which bowl will choose us and will we get picked over teams with 1 or 2 more wins? Unless Auburn beats Alabama, I think it is potentially in this order.

Playoff - Alabama
Sugar - Florida
Citrus - Auburn
Texas -A&M

I think those 4 might be set. After that it is hard to tell. I am guessing it ends up something like this.

Outback - Tennessee
TaxSlayer - LSU
MCB - Kentucky
Belk - Georgia
Liberty - Arkansas

B-ham - USC
Indy - Vandy
At Large - Miss St (APR)

It could change, but I think this might be the most logical setup for butts in seats.

UT went to Outback and Arkansas went to Liberty last year. I think the SEC will try to avoid repeats.

I just want something other than Music City or Liberty Bowl. That's all we ever go to if we are bowl eligible and want something new.
Would love the Belk Bowl, a match up with Boston College who beat Wake Forest would be very interesting. MCB would be OK, but we have played in it 4 times.

Wouldn't be suprised with
Playoff - Bama (win or lose now)
Sugar - and citrus auburn/Florida

Pool of six -
Texas -lsu
Outback - Texas am
Taxslayer - arky
Music city - cats
Liberty - Tennessee
Georgia - belk

No repeats, cats rewarded in Nashville as I think where U.K. Wants to go. I would prefer taxslayer but Nashville will be 85 percent sold out blue against a better opponent to help us out nationally

Tennessee is a hot mess and trending downward. Fans upset not pretty

Charlotte a good easy drive for Georgia. (And they already play in Jacksonville every year)

Texas bowl good for lsu and crowd wise. And outback would be ok crowd wise at outback.

Think Kentucky is going to Nashville with Jacksonville second Charlotte third.

Why would we ever want anything but Nashville?

Boring? Um no!

It's close to home and on New Years it's extremely reasonable pricing. Also it's a perfect small get away during basketball season.

Unless we are ever in the CFP give me Nashville every year.

Guys,
I need some help. Everything I read shows the Belk Bowl being played on Thursday but some on this site say it's a Friday game. Espn has it on their tv schedule for Thursday at 5:00 last I looked. When is the game played?

I would actually prefer the Liberty Bowl, only because I went to the Music City Bowl last time when we played Clemson, and I'd like to go somewhere different.

Here are the Bowl lineups listed in order based on payout with the SEC teams listed in each according to current standings. Funny how it works out geographically for the most part. BTW - the Music City has not picked an SEC team with fewer than 8 wins since the playoff format was initiated. Don't expect that to change this year.

Reasonable? Its a fun town, but they financially screw uk fans big time every chance they get. Hope we never get another event there.
