Utah has a very strong run game but their defense, especially against the run, is comically bad. Like really bad.
We’d likely go away from the run when we got in the red zone, so we wouldn’t get to fully exploit their bad rush D.
Kyle is 10, maybe 20-30-40............ times the better coach than Matt.

Cigs and Indiana have certainly been successful (in the short-term) with much more NIL $ than Iowa. We’ll see how long they can sustain it?
Cigs has done well and is a good coach. He was also able to bring 30 players from James Madison ( top 25 team) with him to Indiana. Most or all are done eligibility wise this year. He also has hit a high rate in the portal . But as you say will he be able to sustain it .What’s that say about Nebraska? You're not even to the 8 wins per year benchmark; you hired a lifetime .500 record coach so getting to that 8 win per year mark is going to be a reach.

Sims had a bad game yesterday in a loss to Arizona. Three interceptions, less than 50% completion rate, 43 yards rushing on 10 attempts, and a quarterback rating of 31.8.
Here's the deal. If he can get over one million in NIL from NU and then try his luck in the NFL, that makes it a tough decision. Pre-NIL, it's a no brainer to go pro.
I see one projection to play Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl. I see another for Arizona State in that same bowl. ASU lost to Utah by 32.
