Nussmeir will play and have the advantage of not getting beat up for four weeks. We'll get LSU's best shot next Saturday. And we have to be really good to win. I hate LSU so much, that I pull for Texas when Horns play them. And they're talented.

Fortunally for us, they've had a rocky season and fired the best of the coaches that lost their job at mid season. I suspect we'll get a little more focus from them than they had last week. We should win. But I don't trust any shouldov's with this much on the line. Then we get some rest and hopefully get some guys healed up, especially in the RB room and the OL room. And we need two really good DL's to be healed to play close to 100%.

Personally I don’t care if OU wins 10-7 as long as OU wins. This LSU D is right up there with other defenses OU has faced recently. The offense needs to show they can sustain a drive for OU. The good thing is that LSU offense is as bad as OUs even with Nuss at QB.

LSU has had OUs number recently and hopefully our fanbase gets treated to best performance of the year from all 3 sides to see OU actually get a comfortable win. However if OU is to lose I doubt any of our fanbase can truthfully say we expected to be in the playoff conversation this year.

With a win though many think we are a shoe in for the playoffs. I would caution everyone if Chaos happens this weekend don’t trust this jury ( er committee) to not screw OU. The media is already trying to hype Texas if they beat AtM. We really need to have Bama lose to Auburn to start with to be safe and hopefully Aggies end the Lonhorns talk

Integrity is just a word in that room

I’d think we would want Bama to win this Saturday to boost our ranked wins. They can lose in the sec championship game after that.

Want MI to win for same reason. TN too.

Valid point but I have a hunch if Bama wins and they go on to win the SECCG, they would jump OU pushing out Sooners from a host team to a road team.

I think OU's Defense is going to have it's way with LSU's offense! It's going to be the deciding factor and the funnest part to watch.

I've learned to pull for the Longhorns on several occasions. But I know that the worst OU fans and team have been treated in the last 60 years, was the Sugar Bowl after the 2003 season. LSU fans were despicable. I don't think I've pulled for LSU in any sports event since. Longhorns fans are our most hated rival. But I know a ton of Orangebloods who are good people. We just don't talk to each other during RRR week. Some surprisingly, are even conservative, which is the point of view I share. It's just not the predominant view in their university's hometown.
