If boylan doesn't make the playoffs this year or loses in the first round isn't the multiplier waived for next year? They have around 880 students

Don't believe so no. They are still multiplied up to 6A due to the private school multiplier. I'm not sure they have ever been a multiplied up due to the success factor.

It would be 4 consecutive years of not making the playoffs or losing in the first round.

Wow, I didn't know that. I hope it doesn't happen because I think 6a is a good level for them. Eventhough the NIC 10 is a traditionally weak conference, it still helps Boylan to play against bigger schools like Hononegah and Harlem to toughen them up a bit for the playoffs. I'm sure some 4a schools will be upset over this.
