I said St X would lose weeks ago in a thread. I was half joking, but I saw them play against Newport (who didn’t even get out of the 9th region) and they didn’t look overwhelmingly better than the states top teams. Very glad to see it happen.
I think Daviess County can knock off Great Crossing tomorrow as well. DC is legit.
Illinois and Indiana televise. Come on KY.

I remember watching Edmonson County winning, Apollo (Lamp and Raker), and seeing Shelby Co and Covington Holmes (Hurt and Beal) on tv.
I'm pretty sure Lamp and Raker played for Ballard, not Apollo.
Jones and Barker played for Apollo. They lost opening round after going undefeated.
I remember Shawnee, Male, Central and Edmonson County years on TV.
Reed Sheppard 2 arriving on the scene? Sheppards cousin, Reece Davidson of North Laurel, led his team over Breathitt Co. Davidson scored 36 points, hit something like 13 of 24 shots, lot of rebounds, steals and a block, he filled the stat line well like his cuz use to do. Only a junior, what level can he play at?

He's a D1 talent, but more mid major. He's slated to play with Midwest Basketball Club on the Adidas Circuit this summer. He's tough.
I was shocked! Daviess moves the ball incredibly well. They've got sharp shooters on both wings, a D1 level pg, and a 6'8 athlete in the paint. GC is for real!
