Kenny Payne has never been a head coach but he has been top assistant for one of the most successful programs in the country. He is an UL alum. Would he be an awful choice really?
Hey Hoosier, why don’t you just straighten out your own program. Give a top 5-10 program’s head coaching job to an unproven assistant who’s been unwilling to prove himself as a head coach at a lesser school? Sounds like a Fred Glass move to me. Good luck with Archie “The Paper Boy” Miller!
