Interesting. I don't really understand how Auburn can be 5th and UK 10th. Auburn's RPI is 22nd and UK's is 5th. UK's SOS is 6th overall and 42nd in the OOC. Auburn's is 39th overall and 107th in the OOC. Auburn is 30-12 while UK is 28-13. We both have an SEC record of 12-6. Auburn still has to play at Miss. State and at LSU while UK still has to play at USC and at Florida. Don't get me wrong, Auburn is having an outstanding season, but I find it hard to believe that they are 5 spots better than UK.

I almost think it is just as much a product of Kentucky being who we are. We aren't expected to be good, and, admittedly, I think I have been waiting for this team to drop off, and every time I think they might they prove me wrong. I imagine that I am not alone in this regard.

You are alone in that thinking. I never expected this team to be in the spot they are in this season. I mean, no one thought UK would be in the talk for a national seed. Well, except Mingione maybe.
