I assume Madison opted out - otherwise 2A looks good to me. There will be a delay period to give time for coaches to ask about changes, before brackets are finalized.

West Davidson has its best season in probably 20 years and gets rewarded with a conference rematch against Salisbury.
Get rewarded more if they beat Salisbury
does that mean Reidsville will have a bye or does that someone will else step up in place of Madison?
Was going to be newton Conover but then they backed out so now you're all playing RS Central
That’s what the final bracket says. I just wonder if Newton opted out or if the RPIs changed.
Why would they opt out sure they need the extra game. I thought they were from tough conference
Don't think we opted out but not sure what happened. If I hear anything I will let you guys know something. Just don't have an answer at the moment.
back in late 70's or early 80's...Reidsville lost in a close game to R-S Central in the semifinals of state 3A basektball tourney (3A tourney in those days was played at the old Durham High School)............................
Newton-conover has bad memories of traveling to Reidsville
I was there ... Irvin Williamson, Maurice Dodd and Scott Bankhead were on that great Rams team along with Barry Courts, Ricky Slade, Greg Purcell and Orlando Dodd. Reidsville finished the season 29-3.

Too bad N-C didn’t get to come to Reidsville. I have never seen the end of a rams-nc game in reidsville.
Musta been around 1980 if Bankhead was on team. Think he was a year older than me and I graduated in 81.

R-S Central won the state 3-A basketball Championship in 1980. Great player was Vincent Hamilton, who later starred at Clemson.

that was the year 1980.....lost to R-S Central in a very close semi-final game....Reidsville led most of the game before losing the lead midway thru the 4th qtr. when they tried to slow the game down...Big mistake.....................
That potential round 2 matchup with West Stokes at East Surry would be a must see game.
