The Cavs slayed Reidsville last year .. can they do it again but to shelby ??? been many many years since east beat Shelby
I’m not sure it might be about even. Maiden and Stuart Cramer both beat Lincolnton.
As long as Shelby doesnt have a disinterested DE they put at LB I like their chances

They have good young coach, that gets most out of players.

We didn’t have anyone to replace Cobb last year. He was our best player. Shelby has more running backs than we did.

I've slept since then maybe it was the 4th still was one of the wildest endings of a game. Nobody had a clue what was going on
Thats what the comments on the video said. It was never explained here that I know of either.
Yes, I talked to a coach from Brevard and a fan that was there and said East truly just imploded and then literally quit. It just shocked them that East’s coaches would not only allow but actually condone giving up.
Yeah for me personally I know that coach has really turned east around but that game last year i know it didnt go there way after beating reidsville the week before and i certainly didn't expect us to pull away the way we did in that game. But I thought it was classless to give up and walk off in the way they did, but also you just condoned giving up and you screwed those seniors on your own team out of 4-5 minutes of playing time in what was probably the last game they'll ever get to play in. And they're going to make some noise in the playoffs this year to east is solid
I have gone to a lot of games over the years and off the top of my head I can only recall one head coach ever being ejected and that was West Caldwell's when we were playing them

I know there is grumbling no matter how you do the brackets- but I hate this year’s system. I also know this is a money making scheme… but the first round match-ups are sad- teams only winning 1 or 2 in the regular season playing in a state tournament??? And South Point being number 1 and Crest being 4 is stupid. I know it’s RPI over everything but really.

I heard a former high school school football coach make this statement the other night." You mean to say, it's the first week in November , high school football season, and the top 16 teams for each classification are not playing?" It does not make much sense to me either. The RPI is as good as the NCHSAA can up with to justify split conferences and unequal match ups. I don't like it being the sole reason for seeding. There should be consideration for Conference Champions at least!
