I can't see Stevens leaving the Celts like this and going to a rebuilding program. Makes no sense. He can do better in the next 3-5 years in the State of North Carolina (either school).

As for Wojo, that seemed premature.

If true, and Stevens has any smarts, he’ll be on the next plane out of Boston. Indiana is as good as it gets. Timing is right for him to become their new coach.

You serious about Capel? Wojo was gone as soon as the brothers left and he didn’t make the tourney with Edwards .

The Stevens rumor appears to have been started by someone in the IU Rivals board. I checked over there. They are skeptical. I guess it could go either way. He says he has inside info. The latest buzz is Stevens is not interested. (Jeff Goodman) Goodman says he has talked to several people close to Stevens, but not Stevens himself. It sounds like IU made an offer anyway.

Kind of. They've had a lot of guys transfer out. I think he deserves time. But we don't live in the 80s anymore. The fans and boosters are very impatient. Dude, we have moronic Duke fans who want K gone. That's how ridiculous sports expectations have become.
