I love what he brings to the table with his speed however I don’t think he has that quickness needed to juke anyone as it seems it takes some time to get moving and once he’s in the clear not many or anyone will be able to catch him. I am thinking more pitchouts to give him more room to get moving. I do think they have it right having with Williams to start as he gashed the Badgers last year on at least 2 plays where he scored some nice long rushing TD’s.

Jackson needs one thing: experience. Fastest RB since the Dwight/Banks/Shaw era.

We could have Bo Jackson in our backfield and it wouldn’t matter much.

Remember how unstoppable Saquan Barkley was at Penn State??
2017:
6 yards / carry
18 Rush TDs
1,300 yards

He ran over and around everyone yet their offense still made the Passing game a priority:

QB Trace McSorely
66% completion
3,600 passing yards
28 passing TDs

We need to be discussing how in the F**k we find offense through the air.

Never mind the fact that the run game wasn't committed to enough, in each game it's struggled.

And actually, you have it backwards. McSorely wouldn't have been able to have had that production without Barkley.

If you want to be able to figure out how to passify, you better be able to figure out how to run.

Or you could just keep trying to passify, and say bye bye to your defense.

Defensively, the teams that stop the run usually don't give up a lot of points. I wonder what that says about the run game 🤔

BJackson has shown good to very good pass catching skills and I agree about the wide running plays. During the Minny game it became apparent we had to run wide and we hardly tried. Sometimes you need to fake to one side or just pitch it wide and try to get your blocks in space.

I cant imagine as a sprint champ it takes him much time to accel to full speen

I think Jackson will be a good one as he sees the field more. I am not seeing that extra gear that T Banks had, but that won't hold him back. I do think he will compliment a RB like X or Phillips very nicely. (Think Thunder & Lighting)
Would also love to see him get some dump offs in space...🤞

Lester failed to use misdirection against the aggressive Minny defense. Why? Great question. Misdirection is at the heart of most good offensive schemes, and especially Lester's Shanahan system, so did someone steal those pages from Lester's playbook?

Hands down one of his worst called games... obviously some the players did him no favors as well. Hoping he has a better plan for Bucky today.🤞

It definitely feels like Lester is bound to a scripted percent pass rush combo. Just put the ball in the playmakers hands!
