Not good. Usually, these types of things happen during the silly season of summer break. Getting started early. I hope the young lady involved is ok.
Wonder if he took much pain medicine after he had his surgery? And for how long.
Women problems, raging hormones, and pain meds are not a good combination for mindful peace.

It’s a misdemeanor. Punishable by up to a year in jail and $500 fine. Requires one of two things: intentionally or wantonly causing physical injury to another or recklessly injuring someone with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument. If the prosecutor decides to move forward these cases do not normally result in jail time for first time offender. Pretrial diversion is common. However, I can’t imagine he’ll be able to stay on the team if there was an injury.

Reading the summary on wave3’s website, the girlfriend’s actions do not match what she claims. She broke up with him and wants him to leave her alone, but he’s been leaving notes on her car and long voicemail messages, so she goes to his place to tell him to stop.
Typically when you want someone to stop harassing you, you don’t go over to their place to physically confront them.
Don’t get me wrong … if he physically abused her in any way, he deserves to rot. But something is not right about what’s been released on the wave3 website.
