Is he under serious consideration for any jobs right now as he was not on list of Temple finalists and he has said he won’t take a low mid major?

He'll probably have some nice options after the 2024 season..I'd wait until then
Don't want him to go, Ace Bailey needs to stay.
I think he is a top 5 paid assistant in CBB with those resource Pike has the luxury to keep any coach he wants until a top HC promotion opens up. Basketball out resources football compared to their respective peers in that way.

That's my thought as well. Bank on the stud recruits leading to very successful seasons and hope that lands you a better gig

I work with someone close to him. He’s not leaving.. for now anyway. He gets paid well.
That's really good news, if it continues to be true. He's been an asset on the sidelines and a good recruiter. As long as he's happy to be here, I hope Rutgers can keep paying him what he's worth to the program.
Even that the concern is valid, I would hope that Ace has many reasons he wants to come here, not just because Knight is here
If he jumped to Auburn with Knight leaving, that means he must have liked Auburn better all along, all other things considered
He stated in meeting that he wants to finish the rebuild, which would put after the 2024-5 season as right time frame to consider offers for a top HC position. As an associate Head Coach, he is well paid here.
I don't think they could put a package to bring him in.
May is earning just under $500,000 before bonuses and that won't bring in Brandin.
Temple would have to offer far more then the little over $1 mil they paid McKie to get Knights attention .
I think Brandin is understandably balking at the $300-$350 with some of the mid-major jobs. I think he’d jump at $500 for a HC opportunity.
Knight is paid as a top top top assistant he’s not leaving for low level HC jobs.
He’s also not jumping from Rutgers asst to a high level $2m job. There has to be a in-between step, and if he’s not willing to go from $600 to $500 to get a HC job, then he may be an asst for quite some time. And if that’s his decision, all due respect. Frankly, there’s no guarantee that right now he would get any of those mid-major jobs if he applied.
