Per espn:

The New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a deal to trade Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks -- including the No. 4 overall selection in next week's draft, league sources tell ESPN.

I’m no GM but that seems like a LOT for one player.
Lonzo Ball will likely be dealt out of New Orleans so need to see what value the Pelicans can turn him into

Lakers just traded nearly all their recent draft picks (as a consistent non-playoff team so the picks were not late round throwaways) so it illustrates how much LAL value the NBA Draft. Now with Davis those picks involved in the trade are mostly late round. James might retire before all those picks are even drafted

The way the NBA is structured with seemingly little regard to tampering, the Lakers could have even included Kuzma and I would pull the trigger on the deal from the Lakers perspective. I am kind of joking but theoretically Lebron could entice a free agent to sign for a discount in exchange for a role in the upcoming Space Jam film. What a mess....

Wow. No one has Giannis in the top 3? I think I might take him over anyone in the league.
If were talking about these guys as assets and you get them given their current age and future projections, than I think it's no debate that Giannis is the #1 asset in the league.
But if I had to rank on who I would want to play on my team RIGHT NOW, I think I'd have Giannis at 4 or 5 overall. He was sort of exposed in the Conference Finals, needs to develop a better jumper in order to become totally unstoppable. Kawhi shut him down.

Exactly. If I am starting a franchise I take Giannis.

Yeah but not for long on kyrie. And semi is SMU correct?

Jesusemilore Talodabijesu Ojeleye (holy crap, I never knew his full name until today) played two years at Duke and then one at SMU. I don't believe he graduated from either.

I count him as a Duke guy because I like him and he was with us for two years, but I'm not sure what the consensus is on that.

I think the Pelicans beg to differ. I believe Zion is going to be really good.

Bird, Magic, Jordan, Lebron, Zion.
I believe he is going to be really good too, but if the Pelicans had a choice between Zion and Giannis today, I believe they take the latter. Obviously I hope Zion becomes as good as the players you mention though.
