Productive trio off the bench with those 3 considering how Garrison has played, especially down the stretch against Duke. Blocked that 3-point attempt by Knueppel. Brea the leading scorer and Kriisa backing up Butler giving Kentucky two experienced PGs. 12 assists vs Bucknell and hit those 2 huge 3's against Duke. 3 TOs through 3 games.

Kriisa's lack of TOs is probably the biggest surprise to me. He plays so fast and loose that you just assume he'll have a few TOs every game, but he's deceptively under control. Big fan of his since he was at Arizona.

Yeah, Garrison has been better than I expected in our first 3 games. He was especially good in that Duke game. He was 4-5 from the floor, including a clutch long 2 (almost his first made 3). And, as you pointed out here, he is a solid passer and doesn't turn it over when he gets the pass out high. I love Pope's offense using the center to make plays. Williams is very good at that, but Garrison is right there.

10 assists, 1 turnover. That is your backup center folks.

the trio of BG, Brea, and Kriisa have 33 assists to 4 turnovers.
The power of shared positional use. I love it. I think it's the key to Pope's system and proven by analytics. It's a big reason why the 2015 platoon system was so phenomenal. If you have enough good players to play it (which UK probably always will) it's not only the best way to play (Pitino used it for defensive purposes and Pope maybe more so for offensive purposes), it's going to make it easier to attract players (their stats per minute are going to look much better).

That's why we're 3-0 easily start the season 7-0. Can you imagine what BG will be if he stays 2 more years. Has Moreno and Wilson helping him inside. The future is bright and he is our first burger boy in the Pope era but shouldn't be alone next year with all 4 freshman getting elected. Oweh will be a beast in his senior year and I'm gonna say Chandler, Perry and Noah really develop under Pope into outstanding contributers next year.
