Braves a "no-show"

Cherokee stunk it up on Thursday night. Don't know if it was the TV hoopla or just the change to Thursday night, but they definitely did not bring their "A" game. (or "B" game either!)

Gonna have to regroup and play better fundamental football.

Looks like the injuries on the line have hampered the Braves a lot.

Gonna be a tough one on the road next Friday too! We will see if the hype is real.

Braves are overhyped. Good QB, lack of depth overall. They are trying. SMC overall is just not having a good pre-conference season. I don't know if that means the race is going to be tight or Murphy will just blow everybody away.

Murphy has not really played that we'll offensively. They look pretty good on defense outside of just laying an egg against Franklin which I believe some of that is scheme and some from them being in our kids heads They've only given up 13 points. 7 of those from a drive that started on the 10. Don't really believe they'll be blowing everybody out but they should be a threat to win every game.

Big SMC opener for both teams next week. Dogs defense has had 4 real good games out of 5. Braves can really score so I think those 2 units are the key matchup for next Friday night at The Hill.
