Not a Braves fan but I am a National League fan. I read a good article on their manager Brian Snitker a few weeks ago, so I was happy for him as he coached and managed in the minor leagues for a long time before getting his shot at managing in the Majors, so I was excited for him. Also, Freddy Freeman seems like a good dude and I have met and talked with Adam Duvall several times. He is another good dude.

Cincy's my team, but I loved the '90s Braves with Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Jones, Justice, McGriff, et al. I'm glad they won (and it's even sweeter that they beat Houston). :)

So glad the Braves won. The Astros should have been banned from competing for any titles for 5 years after they were caught cheating. MLB should be ashamed for the slap on the wrist they gave them. I don’t watch games anymore. Cheating is the worst and it’s sad that it’s tolerated in sports now. I have given up on college basketball also. It’s a sham.

:)not a huge baseball fan really but i lived in atlanta about 10years and felt the fans frustration with so the highly competitive bobby cox teams that would win multiple division titles but fall short of taking it all -

i think they had something like 13 division titles and 1 world series under Cox - while his teams seemed to feature elite pitching talent et

So good for them - i’m happy they brought that one home !

PS: Pitching is the ONLY aspect of baseball that interests me — and its actually fascinating to watch ....
