Keeneland Trackside Kitchen and it ain’t close
Winchells. If doodles is still there that place was good too. It’s been a long time since I had breakfast at Tolly Ho but I do recall in my younger days that they didn’t skimp on the hash browns which always ruled
If you’re taking your family don’t go to Tolly Ho unless it’s 2a and you’re all drunk. That’s basically someone suggesting you take your family to the Lexington Denny's.
Josie’s is good as mentioned, winchells is a classic Lexington establishment.
Carson’s has a nice brunch downtown on Saturday and Sunday.
Drakes Landsdowne is a decent brunch spot and always fun before games.

Josies, Stella's, Tolly Ho, Winchells, Waffle House, Wild Eggs, Keeneland trackside, Doodles, First Watch, IHOP, Tudors biscuit world, Ramsey's, Zims, DV8, Tack House Pub....
Second Stella’s, Keeneland Trackside and Zims although Zims doesn’t have a huge brunch menu so if you have picky kids look at the menu first.
Plus if you go to Keeneland trackside you all get to see Kenneland so that’s a 2 for 1 right there.
I ate breakfast at Keeneland once. The food was cafeteria breakfast. But getting there early and seeing the sunrise over Keeneland is a sight to behold

I worked at the Starbucks on Versailles road a long time ago. It was the same situation. Someone like Nick Zito would come in followed by a bunch of broke *** stable hands
It’s been 20 years since I’ve lived in Lexington but I’d say this list just about sums it up.
the last time I had biscuit belly I ordered hashbrowns and they were worse than the hasbrowns I had in the hospital when they had me on a 'no salt' diet for 3 days
Yes ... a bunch of them, but I think OP was looking for something with local/original offerings.
Ok, just finishing up breakfast at Josie's. Excellent. One girl had pancakes, the other the waffles. Wife had Chevy Chase and I had the Josie's Dad Omelet. Thanks guys.
Finally, someone who comes back to a rec thread and follows up. Tip of the cap to you.
Ok, we hit Wild Eggs on our way out of Lexington today. My girls loved the stuffed french toast, I loved the omelette with shrimp and Cajun flavor. Both places were great, maybe a slight nod to Wild Eggs for my crew.

If I’m pre-gaming, no tailgate, I’ll hit Winchells. Food is good but it’s more about Telling the hostess, “Mr. X will have his breakfast at the bar.” Couple of bloodies, shot of Jameson, breakfast, and hit the game.
