Average RPI of the top 6 seeds (Overall strength at the top)

Midwest: 14.67
East: 14
South: 13.16
West: 13.33

Average SOS of the top 6 seeds (Battle tested at the top)

Midwest: 34.33
East: 32.33
South: 29.5
West: 15.33

*Based on CBS stats

Not really a point to all of this other than it's a fairly well-balanced tournament. Minus the West's SOS, it's pretty much splitting hairs. I thought we could use this thread for any other statistical breakdown; specifically in the South region.

Well, we don't all give 10% of our income to K so he can buy the refs and NCAA tournament committee for nothing.

I honestly believe that even if Duke were ranked #1 at the end of the regular season and the overall #1 seed in the NCAAT and were put in the same bracket in the NCAAT as the teams that were ranked #2 through #6 at the end of the regular season a lot of UNC fans would still say that Duke got the easiest bracket in the NCAAT. It's truly scary how delusional some UNC fans can be at times.
