Not sure it was ever officially released by Duke but everything I saw was that Zion measured at 45” last year, so... very high.

No, Zion’s standing reach is more than a few inches greater that Cassius’. Zion’s max altitude is still higher. I wonder if Miles ever got close. Dante Jones? Hendo?

I don't really care how high he can jump, everything he does lately is confident and smooth. I literally LOVE his style of play. He doesn't act like a freshmen. He'll be an immediate impact man.

I know when Zion committed I initially thought he was a luxury rather than a necessity. I admit I had the same thoughts when Stanley committed. But won't be surprised if he becomes the linchpin in alot of what we try to do next year.

SAME. What is crazy is that if I (and I bet this board too) had to pick 1 freshman (of the big 4, sorry Joey) from last years team to not be a Blue Devil, Zion would have been the choice.
-Clearly keeping RJ because at the time he was the #1 player in every ranking.
-Tre had the lowest ranking but he was the PG and we have all seen talented Duke teams fail without a PG so he was clearly staying.
-Cam, at the time, was assumed to be this lethal scorer and he was also expected to be our 3 point shooting threat so he would have stayed too.

Long story short, Zion was seen as a luxury and boy were we wrong. He was the engine to our team last year, not the shiny new paint job.

By jumping ability, yes....he’s being compared to Zion. I guess I don’t see where that deserves the lol. Now, if someone is comparing them as players (which I haven’t seen), then that would ridiculous.

He’s 20 I believe so he’ll have ( hopefully) some added maturity to his game when he plays with us.
