So are we done with transfers or would we take another with more eligibility than just one year?

We’re committed to 11 spots. Holding on to two more. At this point it doesn’t look like any walk-OB’s will starting for NU come November.

Yes. Right now the roster is at 11. Add in boo and chase and it is full. This is a very impressive rebuilding job on the fly. I would expect NU to look to sign 3 to hold open one spot for a veteran big after next year. Plus odds are you are going to lose a player or two to the portal.

YES! Really hope Boo and Chase will be on board. If so, wow! Really something to look forward to late Fall and Winter. What a turn around, and which will take the edge off anticipated Fall blues.

If Boo and chase return, roster very set up to deliver with more options than ever. If they don’t return, we got problems.

I’m optimistic. Let’s sit back and hope the nil works as those guys aren’t getting drafted

If both Boo and Audige return, like the projected roster better than this past season's.

If, however, only Boo returns, heck, may still like this roster better (if only slightly).

Can't stress enough how happy I feel two of our transfers are seniors.
It is the easiest way we have to add quality players.
Big advantage for NU to pick up quality players - the grad transfer who wants a degree from a prestigious university.
Glad we are capitalizing on our biggest recruiting advantage.

This addition may benefit Barnhizer the most if neither Boo or Audige come back. I love the idea of a BB-Langborg lead guard combo with two proven role players in Berry and Nicholson and a bunch of intriguing prospects around them.

If we only get one of the two back, there is a big difference between Buie and Audige.
Without Audige, we have a pretty good team, with upside.
Without Buie, our fate is in the hands of two freshmen point guards or Audige at the point.

Yeah, these three transfers (none of whom are a point guard) only make sense if Boo comes back. If not, our PG situation is going to be a problem.

Not a diss on Audige, but Buie's return is a whole lot more important. 100%

Berry and Langborg fill the SG spot with more offense than Roper offers. Chase could be fine at point if the 2G can help with the dribble and the fact that BB has a decent handle for a wing.. Still rather have Boo but some nice pieces. PF is suspect spot.

Chase has always driven to his right. It is pretty easy to defend that. I like his mid-range fade jumper, but he has to hit that more consistently to be a real threat. I have always thought he was much more dangerous moving without the ball and getting into dynamic position for passes.

Chase is defense, big time. And therefore very important.

Yeah, that's why I phrased it like I did.

Penn guard and IL PoY, Dingle, has entered the portal, but like Boo and Chase, is waiting to see what his prospects are for the draft.

The Hoosiers have already contacted him.

Only one place Dingle and Berry can play together!
