We're awaiting an announcement from Lonnie Johnson, what's Brian Cole's status? Anybody heard? TIA.

Yes, but then he went to JUCO instead, and then apparently he decided he did want to go to Kentucky, and the UK staff wanted Johnson instead.

Oops. 247 still has him a UK lean though so I guess we will see. I don't see stoops taking both. But thanks, wasn't sure how it played out.

Seems he plays RB and safety at the JC. He started as a WR at UM. If Johnson had been planing the position for years, one might expect him more ready for the field on defense.

I just know he's apparently minutes away from committing to UK over 2 solid programs, UGA and WVU. Plus he has a history with Clinkscales who thought enough of him to stay in touch after he went JUCO. Good pickup.

Yep. And then he decided to do juco instead to see if he could build his profile and get a "bigger" offer. We were his backup plan from the beginning, time to move on. He doesn't have a spot here and I'm glad about that.
