Got this from ESPN regarding Bowling Green U, whose D coordinator is BVG —

“Bowling Green is:

-The 1st MAC team over the last 50 seasons to lose 5 straight games by 35 points.

-The 1st FBS team over the last 15 seasons to lose 5 straight conference games by 35 points.

-The 4th team over the last 15 seasons to allow 60 points in consecutive home games.”

Sounds like he'd make a great offensive coordinator.

In a way, I feel for the guy. I doubt he has much of a future in coaching. At one time he was DC at Notre Dame and probably on track to be a college DI head coach. Now, he’ll be lucky to get a high school job.

Nah. Coaching is a fraternity. If he gets fired, he’ll end up somewhere on somebody’s staff.
