Briles confirms Sellers is staying?

Oh, well, never mind. He also said "I'm probably not 100% in the loop on what's going on with Sellers...I feel confident that he's going to come back here."
Saying you're not in the loop creates a ''loophole''.
Well, he's been here for a day, so I wouldn't expect him to know the intricacies of Sellers' thinking. Not even our existing staff seems to know.
Who knew you could build an offense around getting sacked, running out of bounds too soon and overthrowing open receivers?
I'm still leaning towards Shula having wrecked him (at least that's what I'm thinking today). I believe a competent OC will get him straight.

Throwing the slant pass is not Seller's strength so hopefully Briles will recognize this fact and not continue to make that a key to the passing game.
I think he said that as a cover. The decision is supposed to be made on the 15th. Think he let the cat out of the bag too early.
The football coach at the school here in NW MT just moved here from a school in Charleston. He was telling me at lunch today that he went to a coaching clinic for SC high school coaches that Shula was running. He said it was the worst clinic he ever attended. Disorganized, no clear message, etc. I wasn't shocked, but I was a bit surprised.
The general feeling based on everything I've read-not official-is that Sellers is leaning towards returning.

In all honesty, he should. Unless someone still rates him high simply on mobility and arm strength, his draft status should lead him to return.
Hope Sellers stays but if not Sam Leavitt from Arizona State in the portal.i don’t know what happened in 2025 but he was dynamite in 2024.
