The running game.

Whenever the defense laid off of the WRs we threw quick short high percentage passes and let the guys run.

He was my #1 and we looked so much more disciplined today. Yes it was Kent St. but we have looked pretty lousy at times vs. lesser competition. Didn`t see much confusion, maybe a couple of times. OL looked much better & Lanorris looked very good. Time and SEC opponents will tell but a good start.

I'm old enough to remember when SC State had more yardage than us last year holding us to 2 offensive TDs.

There are no glorified scrimmages (Citadel from 90 and App State from very recently just called). Every win is a big win. They pile up and are better than the alternative. Celebrate every win with gusto.

Briles is fun to watch. I have heard people on here say oh OC doesn't really matter that much. and we just dont have the talent. but what we saw yesterday is proof it does.
