Show's got potential. Black Comedy, some scenes reminded me of Dr. Strangelove.

Having lived in DC a long time and knowing a lot people on the Hill, the State Dept, a few CIA types, some Secret Service agents, etc., while some of it may seem over the top, what was depicted is not out of character for some folks in govt service. Surely, you don't think that the Secret Service guys caught with all those hookers last year was the first time something like that happened do you?

I didn't care for it. I could see it getting better but with so many good shows to watch I'll probably drop it.

Got it on my DVR and will give it a shot. It has been getting some pretty bad reviews.

Veep is so amazing it will be hard for anyone else to do any insider-DC satire stuff.

I am expecting more with this cast than what I got so far. We'll see. HBO rarely disappoints so I am hopeful it picks up.

I watched the first episode and thought it was okay, but with the cast, I was hoping for something more. The reviews I read were pretty uniformly negative.

Not that impressed with the 1st episode. Thought Tim Robbins was great, but was disappointed in Jack Black. Will stick with it to see if it gets better.

Yeah, that was pretty blah. Will watch a couple more in hopes it gets better.
